Friends Becoming Family - Singles & Divorced

Welcome!

Friends Becoming Family (FBF) was formed to encourage healthy friendships in a non-threatening environment. 

Those who are single parents, divorced, separated, widowed, or re-married often find a home here; as well as singles or couples who are simply looking for a family.  We truly are a family, bonded by our friendships through
Jesus Christ. 

We are here as a supportive community within the evangelical Christian faith to help individuals manage through their separation, divorce and life.

Friends Becoming Family started over 25 years ago at First Evangelical Free Church in Fullerton by members of the church trying to manage the troubles of their divorce within the context of their faith in Jesus Christ. Gary Richmond was hired to minister to this group a short time later.  The group was then called Single Parents' Fellowship.

There are now many single adult fellowships across the nation, ministering to singles and divorced people. This wasn't true when the fellowship started. Our fellowship still feels a missionary zeal to be a beacon of light as one of the early groups.
